Riead joined Philip Law Office in August 2017. He graduated from the University of London in 2003 and then he pursues Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Northumbria University, New Castle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom (UK). He ‘was called to the Bar’ in 2005 by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London, UK and became a Barrister at the Bar of England and Wales. During his studies in London, he gained experiences in refugee matters upon working with White Rayland Solicitors, London as a Legal Representative for Refugee Claimant.
Riead went back to Bangladesh as he desired to practice his knowledge from the gained educational background to legal profession. He has more than six years of experience practicing as a Barrister before the Honourable High Court Division of Supreme Court of Bangladesh and gained extensive litigation and investigative experience in a wide range of criminal and civil cases and specializing in Employment, Customs and Criminal related matters.
Prior to working in law, Riead spends few years in teaching profession and teaches Criminal Law, Law of Contract, Law of Tort, Land Law and Islamic Law in London College of Legal Studies, Bangladesh.
In order to gain further qualification and knowledge in corporate and commercial law, Riead completed his Masters of Law from Auckland University of Technology, Auckland in 2016. At the same time, he served as a volunteer Waitemata Community Law Center, Henderson, Auckland.
